These are opinions and adventures (or the lack of it) of a misguided Filipino struggling to make the most of his meaningless and boring existence.

A lazy post about a song, a book, a movie and an anime series

Ito ang theme song ko ngayon. I wish that I can sleep at night again. Maganda naman di ba?

May spoilers pala itong post na ito.

I now have a domain name, got no Idea what to do with it now. At ayoko muna mag-isip. Tinatamad ako.

I am still waiting for Stardust's release in the Philippines and since I hardly go to malls these days, I am not sure when it will be released. So tingin ako sa Internet, after 30 seconds, tinamad ako.

May nabiling copy yung katrabaho na pirated nung movie, di nya nabasa yung book at sabi nya maganda daw yung movie. Tinananong ko yung ending, iba pala. Mamamatay yung witch. And I happened to like the part of the book when Yvaine kissed the old witch goodbye. Ang sweet pa naman sa akin nun. I didn't borrow the DVD, I still want to see it in cinemas, after six months pag wala pa rin, saka ko na panonoorin. Dahil super big fan ako ng book bumili ako ng illustrated edition nun, and both copies, hinihiram ng ibang tao.

And by the way, 5 na nung The Sandman volumes ang meron ko! Anim na lang ang kulang.

I have been watching a lot of anime the past weeks mula nang pinalagot ng nanay ko ang cable namin. katatapos ko lang ng Night Head Genesis (OK lang) at sinimulan ko na yung Basilisk (first episode pa lang, exciting na), but the best I have seen in recent months is Death Note. Sobrang OK. Ito yung summary (from wikipedia):

Light Yagami is an extremely intelligent, but bored, young man who resents the crime and corruption in the world. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground in the year 2003. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it that person shall die. Light is initially skeptical of the Death Note's authenticity, believing it is just a prank. However, after experimenting with it and killing two criminals, Light is forced to admit that the Death Note is real. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a Shinigami named Ryuk, Light seeks to become "the God of the new world" by passing his judgment on criminals.
Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of the International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as "L". L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (derived from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Killer"), is located in Japan. L also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.

Basta OK sya.

I have this window open for two hours already. Tinatamad pa rin ako.

This song is seeww very you. To hell with that Cambio song, Call Center. Daysleeper is anti-circadian rhythm at its grandest.

I have Stardust here, thanks to the advent of torrent! But I still haven't seen it yet. I'm kinda catching up on my favorite TV serials, especially Weeds. God that show is just mondo great. Trust me. You should watch it. ;-p

talamasca: Daysleeper is really great. I honestly had to look for that Call Center song. Hahaha! I hate the lyrics. I was looking for Weeds (coz I hardly see TV anymore), seems interesting.
